The book by virtue of its uniqueness, being in its fragile editorial paperback (no other copies with the same peculiarities have passed through auctions), has come unstuck on page 116, resulting divided in half, but it is easily repairable.
42 plates etched by Achille Gigante and Gustavo Witting
Rare original edition and, with the very rich iconographic apparatus by the painters Achille Gigante, and Gustavo Witting. Work that had considerable success, especially among the travelers of the Grand Tour who at the time visited Naples and Castellammare, such as Goethe, Scott, Ruskin, Dumas and Flaubert.
