Soul Candle for Hanging on the Wall - Morocco Soul Candle, for hanging on the wall of the synagogue (Kas / Kas Daseel). Morocco, dedication from 1953. Sawn and engraved silver. Luxurious fixture. Upper ring with sawn dedication inscription: ”A mitzvah candle for the rest of the late Shlomo Butbul II Avraham, deceased, 13th of Sivan, 1953.” Lower ring with engraved inscription: ”Tantzeb”, sawn base in the shape of a Star of David, with rich decorations in plant patterns and a large decoration in the shape of a flower, extending from the center of the Star of David downwards. The two rings are supported by three cut ”wings”, with twisted plant decorations and engraved lines on them. Two long hooks are attached to a wooden board, for hanging on the wall. Height: 38 cm, maximum width: 40 cm. Good condition. Without glass jar. Stains and blackening. Fragments in the lower ring.
