A tray decorated with Damascus craft. [The Land of Israel, the first half of the 20th century].
Cast brass, inlaid with silver and copper (Damascus craft).
Oval tray. In the center are decorations with plant and geometric patterns and around them are various decorative circles: a circle with the names of the foreign months (according to the Gregorian calendar), a circle with bird decorations and signs of David and a circle with drawings of the twelve zodiac signs, the names of the Hebrew months and the names of the zodiac signs. On the edges are decorations of slats and pomegranates.
Length: 49 cm, width: 70 cm. good condition Minor defects. Remains of a hanging hook on the back side.
