Description:
Gold Medal - Yitzhak Rabin
24K gold medal, "Yitzhak Rabin", the government company. Diameter: 34 mm, weight: 26 grams. Presented in an olive wood box
Obverse of the medal: Portrait of Yitzhak Rabin against the background of the Israeli flag. On the left, along the circumference, the inscription "Yitzhak Rabin Prime Minister and Minister of Defense" and "PRIME MINISTER YITZHAK RABIN". In the lower part, along the circumference, the years "1922-1995 1922-1995".
Reverse of the medal: Dove, the symbol of the state, the symbol of the IDF and the symbol of the Palmach. Below the symbols, the inscription "I devoted all my life to security and peace", the English version "I devoted all my life to security and peace" and Yitzhak Rabin's signature in Hebrew and English. In the gold medals, the reverse side is embossed at 180 degrees in relation to the obverse side.
