A magnificent Hanukkah. Silver 84 - Poland, I. SZEKMAN, late 19th century
Silver menorah 84 (signed silver, full stamps. In addition, Polish silver stamps of the 1920s and a Polish pawn stamp). Jewish Polish maker - I. SZEKMAN, Poland (under the Russian Empire), circa late 19th century. An impressive back menorah. stamped money. Palm trees are attached to the base and back separately and create a three-dimensional effect (rare). In the head, next to the Torah crown, a pair of birds. In the center a vase with fruits and flowers. Sun and oil jug are removable. Width: 20 cm, height: 24.5 cm, weight: about 450 grams. Very good condition, several non-original nuts, minor blemishes and signs of use.
