Keret Seder - including the "Guardians of the Walls" - Jerusalem
order bowl [Jerusalem, 1920s of the 20th century].
Printed silk fabric, cotton; metal.
Four round plates connected by upright columns on legs. On the upper plate is a printed silk cloth (Solomon printing, Jerusalem) bearing verses and decorations on the theme of Passover and the holy places. Around the bowl is a cloth, which covers the edges of the upper cloth and the plates, and ends with a decorative ribbon made of golden metal threads. This special bowl was given as a gift to a donor including the "Guardians of the Walls" in Jerusalem (Colel Shomre Hachomoth).
Height: 17 cm, maximum diameter: 39 cm. Good-moderate condition. A little corrosion and bends in the metal. Tears and stains in the fabric.
