מכתב ארוך בכתב יד הגביר רבי יצחק מייזלש מגדולי ונכבדי קהילת בריסק עוד בתקופת המהרי"ל דיסקין.
שמו של רבי יצחק מייזלש נזכר בקשר לספר תורה מהודר שכתב בשנת תרל"ג.
וכך כותב הגאון רבי בנימין בישקא לאדזמאן אב"ד טרסטינא אחיו של הגאון בעל אור גדול
בספרו שער בנימין (עמ' כה)
ואספרה כמו שבשנת תרל"ג בהיותי מתגורר בק' בריסק נשאלתי בזה מהגביר הרב החריף המפורסם שלשלת היוחסין מ' יצחק מייזלש שליט"א שכתב ספר תורה מהודרת מאוד בתכלית ההידור , אך יריעה אחת לא היתה כ"כ מהודרת כמו השאר ושאל אם מותר להחליף היריעה הגרועה ביריעה מהודרת יותר והרב הגאון עטרת תפארת ישראל מהרי"ל דיסקין האב"ד אסר...'
