Most albums and art books in this auction are from Abraham Meltzer's Estate.
Abraham Meltzer was an exceptional man who had an interest in many fields, he was known worldwide
as a certified acoustician.
He started his career as a physicist and wanted to pursue nuclear research.
Mr Meltzer was advised against it by Robert Oppenheimer in the 1950's.
In the16 years that he lived in Holland, Meltzer gained much expertise and combined his passion for music with acoustics.
His career in both fields was practiced in concert halls and opera houses.
Meltzer was in charge of many important projects in the world, such as Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl and Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, for which he was awarded a knighthood by Prince Rainier.
Meltzer was a devout art collector and his estate includes hundreds of albums and art books.
In addition to his amazing art books Meltzer accumulated a collection of antique watches.
