Ca. AD 1800-1900.A rectangular brass pen-box with rounded ends, inlaid with copper and silver, with functioning clasp-operated lid. The lid and exterior are decorated around each side with a series of elongated cartouches of calligraphy in interlocked elegant thulth script. Size: L:35mm / W:225mm ; 600gProvenance: Private UK collection, formed since the 1990s on the UK and International Art market.
