GROUP OF GLAZED CERAMICS
Ca. 12th - 16th century AD. A group of three glazed ceramics, including a glazed ceramic lid (?) with a dome-shaped blue floral decoration and arabesques over white, a fine glazed lustreware Raqqa candlestick with a base in the form of a twelve-pointed star with a six-petalled flower centre, and a glazed ceramic bottle decorated with four panels outlined in dark blue, two featuring seated figures, one with a standing figure, and one with a spotted wild boar on a brown ground. With an old collection label under the base. Size: 90mm-160mm, 90mm-150mm; Weight: 1.08kg Provenance: Henri René d’Allemagne Collection. 1979, acquired by Ahuan U.K Ltd. from M. Roderick d’Allemagne, grandson of Henri René d’Allemagne (1836 - 1950.)
