KASHMIRI ABSTRACT PAINTING BY GULAM RASOOL SANTOSH
Oil on canvas painting by Ghulam Rasool Santosh, 1929 to 1997, a Kashmiri painter and poet who was largely influenced by Tantra Hinduism and Shaivism. The artwork depicts a nude female figure sitting in lotus position, surrounded by clouds and flames. Black and red color palette. Signed by the artist and dated 1984 on the backside. Collectible Contemporary Fine Art, Southeast Asian Artists.
