A Cold War Russian Soviet era propaganda lithographic poster on paper, Familiar Handwriting, from the Boevoi Karandash series, by Nikolai Evgenievich Muratov, 1908 to 1992. Printed poem by B. Nevsky, lower right. Edited by I. Astapov. Published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash, Artist of RSFSR, numbered 2522, one of 5250, Leningrad, 1973. Marked and copyright in the print, lower right. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century. This phenomenon of mass art is often referred to as such. Nikolai Evgenievich Muratov is a Russian Soviet graphic artist, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, one of the organizers of the creative association Combat Pencil.
