ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI ERA CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE
An antique Japanese, Meiji era, enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a short narrow neck. The ware is enameled with a large polychrome medallion depicting a butterfly in leaves, and a sun on a top made in the Cloisonne technique, on both sides. The neck is adorned with floral, and foliage ornaments made in the same technique. The base features a polychrome foliage motif made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: early 20th century. Dimensions: H 7 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and Age. There is some damage in the cloisonné. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
