RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL ORTHODOX CRUCIFIX CROSS PENDANT
A Russian gilt silver Orthodox crucifix cross pendant decorated with multicolor enamels and embellished with diamonds to the front. Adorned with the Monomakhs cap on top, and three pearl drops are mounted to bottom. The back used to hold an engraving showing two dates 1774 and 1994 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Orthodoxy in North America. The cross was made in the same shape as the cross to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the reign of the Romanov dynasty. Hallmarked with the manufacturer and silver proof marks to the back.
