A French lithographic poster on paper, Marcel Proust En Son Temps Musee Jacquemart Andre, Marcel Proust In His Time Jacquemart Andre Museum Paris, June to September 1971. The poster depicts a portrait of Marcel Proust after the original oil painting by Jacques Emile Blanche, 1892. Inscribed in the print, lower to the center. Framed. Jacques Emile Blanche, French, 1861 to 1942, was a French artist, largely self taught, who became a successful portrait painter, working in London and Paris. Valentin Louis Georges Eugene Marcel Proust, French, 1871 to 1922, was a French novelist, literary critic, and essayist who wrote the monumental novel In Search of Lost Time, originally in French and published in seven volumes between 1913 and 1927.
