A set of four items related to Rudolph Ruzicka, 1883-1978, Czech-American illustrator and designer. A private handwritten postcard letter from Ruzicka to William J. Spangler, dated 1976. A matted colored wood engraving depicting a white family house is signed in the lower right. An invitation to Ruzicka's exhibition at the Lakeside Press Galleries, 1934, with a colored lithograph depicting a blooming tree with birds and a girl playing the flute. A brochure dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Vassar college, 1915, with colored lithographs depicting the buildings of the college's campus.
