A Spectacular Early Victorian 14K Gold and Diamond Brooch
A very special antique brooch designed as a peacock's feather measuring 9.5 cm long, with 14K gold stem and back, the top plumes being crafted in sterling silver. The brooch is set with one antique cushion shape mixed cut natural citrine weighing approximately 7.5 carats together with numerous old European and rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 12.5 carats total.
Weight: 36.0 grams
Citrine: 14.5 x 12.5 x 8.0 mm. Pleasant orange color and eye clean.
Diamonds: the largest diamond is 6 mm in diameter and is estimated to weigh 0.90 carat, the next largest diamond is 4.8 mm in diameter and is estimated to weigh 0.50 carat. Numerous diamonds over 0.25 carat are set into the brooch.
