Georgian Brooch w/ Lover’s Eye Minature Painting
Lover’s Eye Minature - popular intimate gifts in the period of 1780-1830. This brooch is apparently from the beginning of 19th century, and decorated with a hand painting of an eye with a brown iris. in addition, the frame is made of 14K Gold (acid tested by the auction house) and set with pearls.
Dimensions: 1.3X2.5 cm.
