Antique Persian Painting Apparently Nezāmi Period Early 16th Century
Antique Persian painting, depicting a scene of Farhad carrying Shirin and her horse on his back along the mountains.
Crafted with watercolors and gilding, Arabic inscription on the edges of the painting and on its back, frameless framing.
Apparently Nezāmi Period 16th Century.
Minimal fading to the paint typical of such an item and a few stains.
Measurements without frame: length: 17 cm, width: 10 cm.
Measurements with frame: length: 30 cm, width: 21 cm.
