Among them is a collection of Ruthi Ofer that was left to her about 20 years ago by her late husband, Yuli Ofer. The collection was displayed at her home until recently. Her collection consists of Islamic and Jewish jewelry with a clear emphasis on Yemenite goldsmithing and Bukhara crafts.

An impressive and rare silver belt of Jewish bride - Habban, Yemen - 1900
The large belt is comprised of 13 silver rectangular plaques, decorated with granulation and woven into a red textile. Some of the plaques are set with faceted red glass. A woven silver rope decorated with silver bells on its ends connects the belt with amulet pendants decorated with coins and silver chains with red beads ending with bell pendants. The belt is fastened with a silver rod integral to the belt and connected to it with a chain.
