To our esteemed friends,
We are delighted to announce the grand opening of our Auction House – TAJ Art and Judaica. Our deep and cherished connection to our unique history is coupled with a genuine appreciation for Jewish art and culture. This has propelled us tolaunch our exclusive Auction House.
We invite you to join us as we continue our exhilarating journey down the pathways of bygone times. Join us as we continue to discover and encounter antique Judaica, replete with the beauty and value of age-old tradition. And as time passes, the value, splendor and meaningfulness of these artifacts are multiplied tenfold; their nostalgic significance impacting us, our families and our nation in a most profound way.
Tomer Rosenfeld: Age forty-four, married and father of four.
“I inherited my great love of Judaica from my father who is an accomplished bibliognost, as well as a prolific Judaica collector and dealer. I have gained immensely from his wealth of knowledge on the subject, and I feel a great sense of gratitude to him for setting me on the path I am today.
I have been dealing in collecting and marketing a wide spectrum of Judaica for over
two decades. This range includes antique sefarim, manuscripts, rare items and fine art.
Upon concluding my Israeli army service, I commenced my University studies, studying for a degree in History and Jewish Art in Bar-Ilan University. Ever since then I have remained closely attached to the World of Judaica.”
Aron Orzel: Age forty-three, married with a family and lives in Jerusalem.
“I was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland. Since my youth I have had a great interest and affinity for Jewish Art and Judaica. This was sparked by close family members who were prolific collectors, as well as greatly knowledgeable on the subject.
I moved to Israel in my twenties, and over the years have amassed a wealth of knowledge and keen understanding on the World of Judaica. During this time, I have dealt in Judaica, built close connections with eminent collectors and seen thousands of rare and significant Judaica items.”
Together we have chosen to launch an auction of a collection of outstanding
Judaica. Through it we celebrate Jewish sefarim, the tradition of ancient
manuscripts and magnificent Jewish artists who evoke great inspiration within us.
We are committed to providing our clients with the best service possible. Similarly, we hope to serve, encourage and support other Judaica dealers through heightening awareness and appreciation of both antique and contemporary Judaica.
We invite you to contact us regarding any Judaica items, whether sefarim, manuscripts, paintings or art pieces. It will be our pleasure to advise, make recommendations or assist as necessary. Where relevant, it will be our honor to include your items in our upcoming auction, which will no doubt showcase your Judaica treasures to their optimum advantage.
Looking forward to working together in a most successful partnership,
Aron and Tomer
