The Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Noivirt Author of ‘Shmiras Shabbos Kehilchasa’  – Regarding Purity and Mikva’os
Small collection of letters sent by the famous Gaon, Rabbi Yehoshua Noivirt, author of the best-selling “Shmirat Shabat Kehilchasa”.

Three letters, some very sharply worded, sent to Mayor Teddy Kolek and his deputy Rabbi Shmuel Shaulsohn, requesting urgent aid to establish a Mikveh, construction of the Mikveh and preparing an access road to it.
An additional, long letter to the Gaon Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Halpern, head of the Halacha and Technology Institute, where he allows the mechanism invented at the time to purify the Mikveh water and explains why the water is not considered to be flowing when it is used. He suggests that a sign be put up stating clearly that the filter is not in use when the Mikveh is operational.

Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on Rabbi Noivirt.

[4] assorted letters. [1] letter on official letterhead and [3] on lined notepaper. All handwritten and signed by him. Filing holes, fold marks. Very good condition.
