A CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA AMPHORA
Iron Age II, 7th century BCE. Decorated with black circular lines around the body and the neck and linear decoration on the rim and the handles. A Phoenician inscription on the shoulder reads: צלמ "God". Minor hole at the lower side is filled. In very good condition. 29.5 cm high.
