A ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF DIANA.
1st - 2nd century CE. 15.3 cm high. Diana, Greek Artemis, was the goddess of hunting, is depicted with her right arm bent back, reaching to take out an arrow from her quiver. The goddess is dressed in a chiton pinned at the right shoulder. One leg is missing but in good condition and with nice green patina. Ex Property of a London gentleman; acquired on London art market in the 2000s.
